The Uma Maxi Dress is a classic piece slowly and ethically handcrafted from 100%  organic cotton with soft textured stripe detailing. This self-adjustable wrap design provides the perfect balance between a casual and styled look with the special addition of pockets and cute ruffle sleeves for an elegant finish.

We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

"This was my second purchase of the Uma Dress in black. I previously bought an XL , my usual size in DOI. It fits perfectly but is a little low in the neckline and exposes a bit of bra, so I wear it with a slip. I wanted to see if a larger size would correct this so ordered the 2XL. The larger dress was too big, so didn't give me that lovely silhouette and the neckline issue was the same. I have subsequently returned it. Despite the neckline situation, I just love this dress. I have several other styles in DOI dresses, but this one is my absolute favourite. So stylish, so flattering, such soft fabric and so beautiful to wear, a truly exceptional dress. Just love it. I always receive compliments when I wear it and it makes me feel fabulous. It is the ultimate throw on and go dress. Instantly mood uplifting and suitable for everything from beach wear to a restaurant date. Gorgeous in the colder months with cowboy boots and a denim jacket. I am probably going to use my credit to buy the white one! Sustainable, ethical fashion at it's very best. Thanks DOI!"

"I bought a Black in M. I am a size US8( on the lean side). The dress fits well in the bodice with the right amount of give. ( not too tight, not too snug). I had been hesitant in ordering this due to sizing but I think I am glad, I didn’t size down. The dress has the right length( sits well above the ankles, I am 165cm tall). Yet to wear in on an occasion but seems like a good choice for a float casual black dress:). Very happy with the purchase. PS this is my 4th DOI dress:) Love them all!!"
