Celebrating our slow fashion ethos, Nora is an ode to the art of handmade. Beginning with four wood blocks intricately hand-carved to create two traditional jaal and buti floral designs, skilled artisans then use the blocks to slowly and carefully hand print delicate noir hues with a sweet magenta outline upon the softest cotton voile. Tiers of printed fabric have then been gracefully layered and finished with mother-of-pearl buttons from bodice to base, forming this free flowing feminine style lovingly hand-crafted by a small group of women in Jaipur, India.

*Please note due to this style's production process taking several months to create, each Nora maxi dress is completely unique and one-of-a-kind and is only available in extremely limited quantities.*

Material ~ 100% Cotton. This style features an underlining, covering the bodice to the base of the second last tier on the maxi length skirt.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Be still my heart

This is my first DOI dress. It’s is pure magic. The fabric is beyond beautiful and the craft-womanship is delicate yet very durable. I can’t stop spinning. True to size, I am 5’6” and 112lb, I bought size XS. This maxi is a little on the shorter side for me, I like very long maxi dresses. I ordered the Primrose in size S and still a great fit with a little more length. If you are on the fence about purchasing the stress, I hope that you do because you will not be disappointed.
